In this course, basic polymer science will be introduced first. Based on this, chemistry
(synthesis and reaction) involved in polymer will be lectured. Some physical chemistry and engineering
of polymer will also be explained.
In this course, basics about energy storage materials will be introduced. The role and importance
of energy storage materials will be lectured. Characteristics and analytical methods of energy storage
materials used for the development of energy storage technologies such as solar cells, fuel cells, and
rechargeable batteries. Application for energy storage materials and forecast for future energy consumption will be lectured.
Thermodynamics of Materials(재료열역학)
In this course, the basic concepts of thermodynamics for materials will be given first.
Understanding of general phenomena in materials science & engineering such as state equation,
equilibrium, thermodynamic laws, ideal gas, non-reacting gases, phase equilibrium, behavior of gases
and solutions, chemical reactions of gases, condensed phases, electrochemistry.
In this course, basics about organic electronic materials will be introduced.
The role and importance of organic electronic materials will be lectured. Thermal and mechanical
properties of polymer electronic materials will be explained. Explanation of organic electronic
materials for structural and functional application will be given. Special application field for organic
electronic materials will be lectured.
